DC Sargodha reviews development projects in Sahiwal Tehsil

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jun, 2026) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry on Wednesday visited Sahiwal Tehsil to review ongoing development schemes,healthcare facilities,sanitation operations and public welfare projects aimed at improving civic services.

According to the DC office spokesperson,Assistant Commissioner(AC) Sahiwal,Khan Shams-ur-Rehman and other relevant officials accompanied the deputy commissioner during the visit.

The DC was briefed on various ongoing projects, after which he directed departments to ensure timely planning and execution while keeping public convenience, traffic management and future transportation needs in view.

He later visited Sahiwal sports Stadium, where he inspected ongoing construction and rehabilitation work,directing authorities to complete development activities within the stipulated time-frame and in accordance with approved standards.

During a visit to THQ Hospital Sahiwal, accompanied by MPA Barrister Taimoor Khan, the DC inspected medical facilities, staff attendance, cleanliness arrangements and patient care services.

He also interacted with patients and their attendants, directing hospital management to ensure quality healthcare without negligence.

DC Chaudhry also reviewed a sewerage and rainwater drainage project under the Punjab Development Program (PDP), directing authorities to ensure timely completion, maintain construction quality and minimize public inconvenience.

At Sahiwal Family Park, he inspected recreational facilities and directed officials to improve amenities for families, particularly women and children, and enhance the park’s overall environment.

Reviewing the Suthra Punjab Program, the DC inspected sanitation operations and instructed officials to strengthen cleanliness systems, ensure timely waste disposal and maintain high standards of sanitation across urban areas.

During his visit to Kaneez Fatima Welfare Hospital, Farooqa, he reviewed medical facilities, equipment, staff attendance and patient care services, stressing the need to ensure quality healthcare in rural areas.

The DC said all departments must work diligently to ensure that the benefits of government development and welfare initiatives reach the public and improve service delivery standards.
