Divisional Development Working Party has approved construction, repair and maintenance of various roads and other beautification projects across the division

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Apr, 2026) Divisional Development Working Party has approved construction, repair and maintenance of various roads and other beautification projects across the division.

According to official sources here Wednesday, a 3.9km road from Mamon Kanjan Tandlianwala road to Ihsan chowk Imambargah will be constructed at a cost of Rs 130 million.

The beautification projects in Aminpur Bazaar will be completed at a cost of Rs 370 million and Jhang Bazaar at a cost of Rs 390 million.

The District Population Welfare Complex in district Chiniot will be executed with a fund of Rs 120 million.

The committee also approved completion of Kalsoom Nawaz block at Government Girls Graduate College, GM Abad at a cost of Rs 370 million.

The repair and maintenance and carpeting of 10 roads under the aegis of highways at a cost of millions of rupees were also approved.

The meeting was chaired by Commissioner Musarrat Jabin, during which deputy Commissioner Faisalabad Cap (Retd) Nadeem Nasir and Deputy Commissioner Chiniot Ayesha Rizwan briefed the meeting.

Deputy Commissioner Cap (Retd) Nadeem Nasir said that underground electric system, upgradation of sewerage system and installation of benches in 1000 feet long Aminpur Bazaar and 2,000 feet long Jhang Bazaar are the part of the project.

He said that in Aminpur Bazaar plotters would be placed while in Jhang Bazaar green belt would be constructed.
