Death compensation grant increased for employees from Rs 30 million to Rs 100 million in budget 2026-27

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jun, 2026) Balochistan government enhanced the budget of death compensation grant for employees from Rs 30 million to Rs 100 million in the Financial year 2026 -27.

While presenting third annual budget 2025-27 on Wednesday, Balochistan Finance Minister Mir Shoaib Nosherwani said that the death compensation grant for employees has also been increased from Rs 30 million to Rs 100 million for interest of the official employees.

He said that under the leadership of Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti, the Finance Department prepared pro-people budget for facilitating people in the province.

The government has also allocated Rs 14 million for the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Scholarship , while special grants will also be given to schools in different districts.
