Delegation of Youth Senate of Pakistan visits KP assembly

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jun, 2026) A delegation of Youth Senate of Pakistan here Tuesday visited Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly where they were briefed about legislation process and parliamentary traditions.

Special Secretary KP assembly, Syed Waqar Shah briefed the visiting delegation about various steps of legislation process and the working of assembly departments.

He said that time demands that youngsters should be informed about parliamentary systems and aspects of constitution. He said that provincial assembly is making efforts to orient youth about parliamentary norms and role of national institutions.

On the occasion, Member Provincial Assembly, Mehr Sultana administered oath to participants of the delegation. She also informed them about positive approach, national development and their involvement in democratic system.

The delegation praised KP assembly for its efforts to inform youth about parliamentary system and vows to use these information and experience in their practical life.
