Delimitation of constituencies for eight cantonment boards in Sindh completed

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Apr, 2026) The Election Commission of Pakistan has completed the delimitation of the Constituencies for eight cantonment boards in the province of Sindh.

A total of 54 objections were received concerning the delimitation of these eight cantonment boards, said a spokesperson of the Sindh Election Commission here on Tuesday.

The Delimitation authorities resolved all objections filed against the preliminary delimitation lists by April 15.

The province of Sindh comprises a total of eight cantonment boards.

The Karachi Division encompasses the cantonments of Karachi, Malir, Clifton, Korangi, Manora, and Faisal cantonment boards.

A total of 52 objections were filed against the preliminary delimitation lists of the six cantonments within the Karachi Division.

Two objections were filed against the preliminary delimitation list of the Hyderabad Cantonment board.

No objections were filed against the preliminary delimitation list of the Pano Aqil Cantonment Board.

The Regional Election Commissioners, serving as Delimitation authorities, disposed of the objections within the prescribed time frame and in accordance with the applicable legal framework.
