Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad conducts special visits to hospitals and Dar-ul-Aman on Eid-ul-Fitr

ABBOTTABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Mar, 2026) On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad Sarmad Saleem Akram carried out special visits to key healthcare and welfare facilities in line with instructions from the provincial government.

The Deputy Commissioner visited Benazir Teaching Hospital, where he was accompanied by Medical Superintendent DHQ Abbottabad Dr. Israr. He thoroughly inspected the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), various wards, and the emergency department.

During the visit, he personally met with patients, inquired about their health and comfort, offered heartfelt Eid greetings, and distributed sweets to bring cheer to those undergoing treatment.

Deputy Commissioner Sarmad Saleem Akram engaged in detailed conversations with the patients, attentively listened to their concerns and grievances, and issued immediate directives to the hospital administration for prompt resolution of the highlighted issues to improve patient care.

He also paid a visit to Dar-ul-Aman (shelter home), where he met with the in-charge and interacted warmly with the resident women and children. He extended Eid Mubarak wishes to them and issued necessary instructions to ensure the provision of all required facilities and improved welfare services.

These visits underscore the district administration’s commitment to public welfare, especially during festive occasions, ensuring that vulnerable segments of society receive attention and support as per the provincial government’s emphasis on citizen-centric governance.
