Deputy Commissioner reviews anti-polio campaign in Chiniot

CHINIOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Chiniot Ayesha Rizwan on Monday conducted visits to various areas to review the ongoing anti-polio campaign and assess its implementation.

During the visit, Chief Officer Health Dr. Saqib Munir, Deputy District Officer Dr. Naeema Ashraf, and other UCMO area in-charges were also present.

The Deputy Commissioner inspected the performance of polio teams in nomadic settlements along Jhumra Road. She examined the markings on houses in slum areas and verified vaccination coverage by checking ink marks on children’s fingers.

Emphasizing the importance of complete immunization, she directed health officials to ensure that no child is left unvaccinated during the campaign.
