NAWABSHAH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad Abdul Samad Nizamani formally inaugurated tree plantation campaign Tuesday.

Deputy Commissioner planted a sapling at DC Office Chowk in collaboration with Sindh Integrated Emergency and Health Services (SIEHS) Shaheed Benazirabad, aimed at promoting environmental improvement and a greener, cleaner atmosphere across the district.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Abdul Samad Nizamani said that planting trees is extremely important to control rising temperatures, climate change, and pollution. He said that trees are a natural blessing for humanity, as they not only help keep the environment clean but also reduce the intensity of heat and provide a healthier living atmosphere.

DC said that planting trees at various government institutions, schools, colleges, and public places across the district is need of the hour, while ensuring the protection and care of planted saplings is equally important.

He appealed citizens, especially the youth, to actively participate in tree plantation campaign so that a green and clean environment can be ensured for future generations. On this occasion, District Manager SIEHS Aqsa Jamali informed that their organization would plant different kinds of trees from DC Office Chowk to Qazi Ahmed Mor, with the objective of reducing the increasing temperature in the area.
