DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jul, 2026) The district administration successfully restored traffic on the National Highway (N-50) after a landslide caused by recent heavy rainfall blocked the road at Zam Mor in Darazinda.
According to the administration, the landslide disrupted vehicular movement on the vital highway, prompting an immediate response from the Darazinda tehsil administration and the National Highway Authority (NHA).
<?php /*?> <?php */?>Joint teams launched a clearance operation and removed the debris from the affected section of the road within a short time, ensuring the reopening of the highway.
It says that the N-50 has been fully restored and traffic is now flowing normally in both directions.
The district administration said it remains vigilant and is taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety of travelers and maintain uninterrupted traffic on major roads during the ongoing monsoon season.
