Dera police celebrate Eid ul Azha with families of martyred officers

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th May, 2026) On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, district Dera Ismail Khan police celebrated Eid-ul-Azha festivities with the families and children of martyred police personnel, paying tribute to their sacrifices.

On the special directives of District Police Officer Ziauddin Ahmad, divisional officers across the district, including Superintendent of Policy (SP) City Division Muhammad Nauman, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Suburb Circle Hafiz Muhammad Adnan, DSP Paroa Circle Imran Ullah Khattak, along with Station House Officers of various police stations, visited the homes of martyred personnel.

The officers met the families, listened to their concerns, and paid rich tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs.

On the occasion, special affection and care were shown to the children of the martyrs, ensuring they remained part of the Eid celebrations.

DPO Ziauddin Ahmad said that the martyrs were the pride of the nation and a valuable asset of the police force, while taking care of their families remains the foremost responsibility of the department.

He added that the country enjoyed peace today because of the eternal sacrifices rendered by the martyrs, and DI Khan police would never forget them.

According to the police spokesperson, the purpose of expressing solidarity with the martyrs’ families on Eid was to assure them that the entire police force stands beside them in every moment of joy and grief.
