of nine kilograms of Ice drug worth millions of rupees during separate operations.

According to police spokesman, SHOs Sardar Fawad Khan of Darazinda Police Station and Rehmatullah of

Mughal Kot Police Station led the respective teams.

During routine checking at the Aman Mela check post, the Darazinda police intercepted a car bearing registration

number (LOV-46). Upon search, approximately three kilograms of Ice drug were recovered from the vehicle’s fuel

tank.

The driver, identified as Muhammad Saib, a resident of Bara Road, Peshawar, was taken into custody.

In a separate operation, the Mughal Kot police stopped a passenger coach traveling from Zhob to Dera Ismail Khan. During inspection, six kilograms of Ice drug were recovered from the bag of a passenger, identified as Syed Muhammad Akmal, a resident of Gulistan, Qila Abdullah.

Both suspects were arrested and cases have been registered against them, while further investigation is

underway.

SP Saddar Division Asif Mahmood said that operations against drug trafficking would be continue without any discrimination.
