Dera's admin extends relief to citizens in Ramazan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Mar, 2026) The district administration is taking concrete steps to extend relief to citizens during the holy month of Ramazan.

As part of efforts, it has taken a key step to control prices of essential food items at the vegetable market established at Ratta Kulachi Stadium.

Acting on the directives of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Suhail, along with the food department's on Wednesday morning visited the district's main vegetable and fruit market and supervised the auction process.

During the inspection, special emphasis was placed on ensuring transparency in the bidding process, and an official price list was issued on the spot.

Traders and shopkeepers were directed to provide quality fruits, vegetables, and agricultural produce at government-approved rates, with a warning of legal action in case of violations.

The administration also reviewed cleanliness and traffic arrangements in the market and issued necessary instructions for improvement.
