Development projects worth Rs26 billion reviewed

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Apr, 2026) A meeting regarding the initiation of development projects across the district was held at the Commissioner Office here Sunday.

The meeting was presided over by Provincial Minister for Housing Bilal Yaseen. Secretary Housing Tayyab Fareed, PML-N leader and former MPA Shahid Mehmood Khan, Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, RPO and officers from various district departments attended the meeting.

The minister was given a detailed briefing on development projects worth Rs26 billion. Parliamentarians and stakeholders were informed about various projects likely to be launched in their respective Constituencies.

Speaking on the occasion, Shahid Mehmood Khan stressed the need to start projects that directly benefit the public. He said the district administration must ensure transparency and accountability in spending every penny allocated for development projects.
