DG KDA visits Surjani town to review development work

Director General (DG) Karachi Development Authority (KDA), Asif Jan Siddiqui on Tuesday paid a detailed visit to Surjani Town and inspected the ongoing development projects

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Apr, 2026) Director General (DG) Karachi Development Authority (KDA), Asif Jan Siddiqui on Tuesday paid a detailed visit to Surjani Town and inspected the ongoing development projects.

During the visit, the Director General KDA was given a detailed briefing regarding the ongoing development works in Sector 5 of Surjani Town.

The briefing informed that the construction and rehabilitation of roads, repair and construction of drains, and the construction of footpaths are progressing rapidly in the area, which will be completed within the stipulated timeframe.

Asif Jan Siddiqui reviewed the quality and pace of the ongoing works and directed the relevant officers to ensure that road construction is undertaken only after improving the underground sewage system.

He further instructed that all development projects be completed in accordance with high-quality standards and within the specified timeframe, so as to provide better travel facilities and improved drainage systems to the residents of Surjani Town.

He further directed that no delay should occur in completion of the work, and that all officers must fully utilize their capabilities in the construction project.

DG KDA stated that the KDA is utilizing all available resources to provide basic amenities to the citizens and that the scope of development works in various areas of the city will be further expanded.
