DG NAB hears public complaints at open court

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Apr, 2026) The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore Director General Mirza Faran Baig on Thursday presided over a monthly open court, hearing complaints of 235 citizens, mostly related to fraudulent housing schemes.

According to officials, during the session, the DG, along with senior officers, listened to the grievances of complainants and issued on-the-spot directions for prompt action on their cases.

Most of the complaints pertained to various private housing projects, including Al-Noor Orchard, Al Jalil Garden, Omega Residencia, Pak-Arab Housing Scheme, Khayaban-e-Amin, Future Vision, Palm Vista, Unique Solar, Anayah Grand Mall, For U Real, New Lahore City and Al Rehman Garden Phase-IV.

Mirza Faran reiterated NAB’s commitment to protecting the rights of affected citizens and ensuring provision of justice, adding that strict legal action would be taken against those involved in public fraud and deception.

Participants appreciated NAB Lahore’s initiative, terming the open court an effective platform for prompt redressal of public grievances, the officials added.
