DG WCLA receives Punjab Tourism & Excellence Award 2026

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Apr, 2026) Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA) Director General Najmus Saqib has been honoured with the Punjab Tourism & Excellence Award 2026 in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the promotion and development of tourism in the province.

The award was conferred by the Tourism Archaeology and Museums Department Punjab during the Punjab Tourism & Excellence Awards Ceremony held in connection with the Magnificent Punjab Tourism and Investment Expo 2026 at Expo Center Lahore.

The award acknowledges Najmus Saqib’s exemplary services and significant role in promoting tourism, preserving cultural heritage and advancing sustainable tourism initiatives in Punjab.

Under his leadership, WCLA has undertaken key initiatives to revitalise heritage sites and enhance visitor experience, contributing to strengthening Lahore’s position as a major cultural and tourism destination.

The ceremony was attended by leading professionals and stakeholders from across Pakistan’s tourism and hospitality sector, recognising excellence and innovation in the industry.

Meanwhile, a tourist guide of WCLA, Sajid Ali, also received the Punjab Tourism & Excellence Award 2026 for his outstanding services and guidance to tourists.
