DI Khan admin marks encroachments to improve drainage & traffic flow

Dera Ismail Khan, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Apr, 2026) The district administration of Dera Ismail Khan has marked illegal encroachments built over main drains and along roads in several localities, including Gali Faqirabad, Mohalla Jogianwala, and Mohalla Kambharawala.

According to official, the action aims to improve the city’s drainage system, ensure smooth traffic flow, and reduce the risk of urban flooding, especially during the upcoming rainy season.

The administration has directed the concerned individuals to voluntarily remove the encroachments within the specified time. Authorities warned that strict legal action will be taken against those who fail to comply.

Officials further stated that the anti-encroachment operation will continue across the district to protect public infrastructure and facilitate residents.
