Dialogue only way to resolve political matters: Minister

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th May, 2026) Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry on Tuesday said the dialogue was the only way to resolve political matters with the Opposition.

Talking to a private television channel, he said the Opposition leader had been invited for talks to ensure that political matters could be addressed in a proper and constructive manner.

He said the country was making progress under the leadership and vision of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He added that Pakistan would gain significant benefits from projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

Commenting on tensions between the United States and Iran, the minister said Pakistan’s leadership had played an important role in facilitating dialogue between the two countries.

He reaffirmed that Pakistan would continue its efforts for lasting peace and stability in the region.
