DIG Hazara and DPO Abbottabad join personnel for Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at Police Lines Mosque in Abbottabad

ABBOTTABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Mar, 2026) In a display of unity and camaraderie, senior police officials of the Hazara region joined police personnel to offer Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at the Police Lines Mosque here on Friday.

The congregational Eid prayer was led by Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Hazara Nasir Mahmood Satti, accompanied by District Police Officer (DPO) Abbottabad Haroon Rashid Khan, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Traffic Muhammad Ishtiaq Khan, and other senior officers.

During the special prayers, fervent supplications were offered for the safety and security of the nation, the maintenance of peace and law and order across the province, and the overall prosperity and happiness of the citizens.

After the prayers, the senior officers mingled freely with the jawans (police personnel), shared the joy and spirit of Eid, congratulated them, and commended their dedication and high morale in performing demanding duties even during festive occasions.

An Eid Milan ceremony was subsequently organized at the Police Lines premises, where officers and personnel exchanged warm Eid greetings, Mubarakbad wishes, and spent quality time together.

The event culminated in a grand communal lunch where all officers and jawans sat together at the same table and shared a meal. The gathering further reinforced the bonds of brotherhood, mutual respect, and strong esprit de corps within the Hazara Police force.

Senior officers present on the occasion reaffirmed that the police force remains fully committed and ever-ready to safeguard the lives and property of the public. They assured that no stone would be left unturned in the performance of duties, even on this joyous Eid day, to ensure peace and security throughout the region.

The collective participation of leadership and personnel in religious and social activities during Eid highlights the deep sense of duty, discipline, and family-like cohesion that characterizes the Hazara Police.
