DIG Hazara emphasizes maximum facilitation for tourists, calls for improved security

NATHIAGALI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th May, 2026) Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Hazara Police, Nasser Mahmood Satti visited Nathia Gali to review tourist facilitation arrangements, including the Tourist Facilitation Center, security measures, traffic management, and other services being provided to visitors.

During the visit, Senior Superintendent of Police, Traffic Wardens Abbottabad, Muhammad Ishtiaq briefed the DIG Hazara regarding the steps taken by Abbottabad Police and traffic police for the safety, guidance, and facilitation of both local and foreign tourists. The DIG appreciated the efforts and stated that ensuring maximum facilities for national and international tourists remained among the top priorities of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police.

The DIG also inspected the Tourist Facilitation Center and reviewed the information, assistance, and guidance services available for tourists. He directed that the quality of services, staff performance, and available facilities be further improved to enhance public convenience.

During interactions with tourists at various locations, visitors praised the arrangements and expressed satisfaction over the steps taken by the police. The DIG directed officials to ensure smooth traffic flow, prompt emergency response, and courteous behavior with tourists, emphasizing that providing a safe and pleasant environment was a key responsibility of the police to maintain a positive image of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
