Indian singer and rapper Diljit Dosanjh is redefining the global touring landscape. According to Billboard Boxscore reports, the superstar grossed a staggering $45 million and sold 317,000 tickets so far on his massive Aura World Tour. Wrapping up a monumental run across the United States and Canada, Dosanjh closed the highest-grossing North American leg by a Punjabi artist in Boxscore history. "The Aura World Tour reflects both his global appeal and the growing demand for South Asian artists worldwide," Nidhish Varughese, a representative for Live Nation, told Billboard. "With this North American leg, he broke his own record, drawing more than 225,000 fans and grossing $32 million across 15 shows. This surpasses his record-breaking 2024 Dil-Luminati Tour, which previously stood as the highest-grossing North American tour by a South Asian artist." The singer's North American itinerary included 10 high-octane shows in the US spanning eight major markets. Responding to massive demand, Dosanjh doubled up on dates in both New York and San Francisco and grossed over $5.1 million from 26,900 tickets during a two-night stand at Madison Square Garden on May 24–25. While the US dates generated a massive share of the revenue, it was Canada that drew the largest crowds. The Morni singer commanded stadiums in Vancouver and Toronto, leveraging the deep roots of the South Asian diaspora. He peaked in revenue at Toronto’s Rogers Centre on May 31, raking in $5.9 million. Meanwhile, his stop at Vancouver marked his highest attendance of the leg, drawing an audience of roughly 42,700 fans at the BC Place Stadium. "Canada has one of the largest South Asian populations in the world, so it’s naturally a very strong market for South Asian artists," Varughese said. She added, "At the same time, Diljit has built an exceptionally strong fanbase across Canada, which is reflected in the scale of the venues he’s able to play there." Before conquering North America, Dosanjh kicked off the Aura World Tour in Oceania, playing five shows in Australia and one in New Zealand. The initial run brought in $13 million and shifted 90,100 tickets, highlighted by massive stadium stops in Melbourne and Sydney. While the tour has already cemented its place in the history books, the momentum isn't slowing down. Nine highly anticipated shows remain across the United Kingdom and Europe, with stops planned for Amsterdam, Berlin, Manchester, and Paris. The crowning jewel of the upcoming European leg will be a performance at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium on September 12. According to Dosanjh’s official website, the massive stadium show is already completely sold out.
