District admin takes steps to ensure uninterrupted fuel supply during Eid

ABBOTTABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th May, 2026) The district administration Abbottabad has taken special measures to ensure uninterrupted supply of petrol and diesel to citizens during Eid-ul-Azha.

On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad Sarmad Saleem Akram, Additional Assistant Commissioner Kamran Ali Shah conducted visits to various petrol pumps located at General Bus Stand, Lady Garden, and Murree Road.

During the inspection, the official checked the availability of petrol and diesel stock, accuracy of fuel dispensing systems, and compliance with government-approved rates.

The purpose of the visit was to ensure that citizens do not face any inconvenience during the festive season.

The officials also instructed petrol pump operators to strictly follow official fuel prices, maintain correct measurement standards, and ensure continuous supply of petroleum products to the public.

The district administration further stated that strict monitoring of all relevant sectors will continue throughout Eid-ul-Azha to ensure smooth provision of essential services and to prevent any artificial shortage or black marketing.
