District bar will elect its office bearers on March 28

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Feb, 2026) The issuance and submission of the nomination papers for the candidates interested in contesting 6 seats of the office bearers and 7 of the Member Managing Committee (MMC) of Hyderabad District Bar Association (HDBA) will commence from February 16.

As per the election schedule, the nomination papers would be accepted till February 18 and the scrutiny process would be completed on February 21 following which the list of the eligible candidates would be displayed on the same day.

The candidates can withdraw from the contest by February 25 on which the final list of candidates would also be displayed.

Meanwhile, the final list of the valid voters would be displayed on March 25 and the polling would be conducted on March 28.

The seats of President, Vice President, General Secretary, Joint Secretary, library Secretary and Treasurer are up for grabs.

Earlier on Saturday the High Court Bar Association (HCBA) Hyderabad elected its office bearers and MMCs.
