Diversions on Expressway, Srinagar Highway likely to affect traffic; says ITP

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Apr, 2026) Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) issued a traffic advisory for April 26, warning commuters of diversions on major roads in the Federal capital.

A spokesperson of ITP told APP on Sunday that diversions would be placed at different times on Islamabad Expressway and Srinagar Highway.

He said that the traffic flow on these routes was likely to be affected during the specified periods.

The spokesperson urged the citizens to plan their travel with extra time to avoid inconvenience. He advised commuters to cooperate with traffic police and show patience during the diversions.

The official said Islamabad Traffic Police personnel would remain present on roads to facilitate citizens. He added that further updates could be obtained through ITP’s official WhatsApp channel.
