Divisional Commissioner urges unity and compassion on Eid

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Mar, 2026) Divisional Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar on Saturday called on citizens to promote love, brotherhood, and unity during Eid-ul-Fitr, emphasizing that the festival’s true spirit lies in caring for underprivileged segments of society.

DC Raja,along with Deputy Commissioner Captain (Retired) Nadim Nasir and other officials, offered Eid prayers at Chenab Club, where large crowds gathered to mark the end of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak.

Extending Eid greetings,he urged people to include the poor and needy in celebrations, describing acts of charity and solidarity as vital for strengthening social bonds.

The commissioner also paid tribute to martyrs, saying their sacrifices guide the nation and remind citizens of their responsibilities toward Pakistan’s progress and security.
