Domestic issues claim life of 4-year-old child

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Feb, 2026) A 4-year-old child was strangled to death during a domestic dispute in Rahman Baba area here. police reported on Tuesday.

Police said they have arrested a man and a woman in connection with the murder.

According to initial details, the deceased child, identified as Hashir, had come with his mother to his aunt’s house. Shortly after arriving, the child went missing. Later, his body was found hidden under a bed in a room inside the house.

The complainant, Fehmida told the police that the accused couple killed her child as an act of revenge due to ongoing conflicts and disputes with her sister and brother-in-law.

Police said the exact cause of death will be confirmed after the post-mortem report. Preliminary investigations suggest that the suspects attempted to conceal the body after committing the crime.

Police have recorded statements from the people present in the house and said the accused will be presented before the court for further investigation to uncover the complete facts and motive behind this heartbreaking incident.
