DPM Dar, Turkiye FM Fidan discuss evolving regional situation, underscore importance of dialogue, restraint

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Jun, 2026) Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister (DPM/FM), Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Thursday held a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister of Türkiye Hakan Fidan, where both the dignitaries discussed the evolving regional situation and underscored the importance of dialogue, and restraint.

During the interaction, both expressed hope for an early understanding among all parties which would contribute to lasting peace and stability in the region, a DPM's Office news release said.

The two leaders agreed to maintain close coordination on regional and international issues of mutual interest and continue high-level engagements to advance the multifaceted Pakistan–Türkiye partnership.
