DPM, Iranian FM emphasize need for continued dialogue

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Apr, 2026) Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar spoke Sunday afternoon with Foreign Minister of Iran Abbas Araghchi.

DPM/FM emphasized the need for continued dialogue and engagement as essential to resolving the current issues as soon as possible for promoting the peace and stability in the region and beyond.

Both leaders agreed to remain in close contact and also concurred on a phone call between the President of Iran and the Prime Minister of Pakistan, later on Sunday.
