DPO, DC offer eid prayers at Ejaz Shaheed police lines Dera

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th May, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Ziauddin Ahmad and Deputy Commissioner Hikmatullah Khan offered Eid-ul-Azha prayers along with police officers and personnel at Ejaz Shaheed police lines here on Wednesday.

A large number of police officials attended the congregation, including SP City Muhammad Nauman, DSP Headquarters Inaamullah Khan Gandapur, DSP City Circle Malik Abid Iqbal and DSP Suburb Circle Hafiz Muhammad Adnan.

Special prayers were offered after the Eid prayers for the security and stability of the country, peace in the region, and prosperity and brotherhood in Dera Ismail Khan.

On the occasion, DPO Ziauddin Ahmad exchanged Eid greetings with police officers and jawans and appreciated their dedication, sense of duty and sacrifices in maintaining law and order.

Speaking to the police personnel, the DPO said that despite the festive occasion of Eid, police officials were performing their duties to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property, which was commendable.

He reiterated the commitment of Dera Ismail Khan police to maintaining peace and ensuring the safety and security of the public at all times.

According to the police spokesperson, the district police are continuing effective measures to maintain law and order and provide security to citizens during Eid-ul-Azha.
