DPO Dera inspects driving school, calls for citizen-friendly services

Dera Ismail Khan, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Apr, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Ismail Khan, Ziauddin Ahmad, on Thursday visited the Police Driving School to review its functioning and service delivery mechanisms.

During the visit, the DPO met with the staff and inspected various sections of the driving school, including classrooms and training facilities. He was briefed on the ongoing training processes and administrative arrangements.

Addressing the staff, the DPO emphasized the need to ensure provision of quality services to citizens seeking driving-related facilities.

He directed officials to adopt a courteous and professional attitude towards visitors and applicants.

He further stressed that the process of obtaining a driving license should be made transparent, simple, and citizen-friendly to avoid inconvenience to the public.

Ziauddin Ahmad also issued necessary instructions aimed at improving staff performance and enhancing available facilities. He reiterated that the Primary objective of the police is to serve the public and provide maximum possible facilitation by utilizing all available resources.
