DPO Dera reviews security at remote police stations

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Apr, 2026) District Police Officer Ziauddin Ahmad on Sunday visited remote police stations and adjoining check posts in the Daraban, Darazinda and Chodhwan circles to assess security arrangements and operational readiness.

During the visit, he was accompanied by SP Saddar Asif Mahmood. The DPO conducted a detailed security audit of the police stations, reviewing existing measures, record-keeping, deployment of personnel and duty procedures.

He also briefed officers and officials on potential security threats and issued directives aimed at further strengthening security.

Inspecting the check posts, the DPO instructed deployed personnel to remain vigilant, closely monitor suspicious individuals and vehicles, and avoid any negligence in the line of duty.

He emphasized that protecting the lives and property of citizens remains the police’s foremost responsibility which must be ensured at all costs.

The visit also aimed at boosting the morale of police personnel stationed in these remote areas. On the occasion, the DPO directed officers and officials to maintain a courteous attitude towards the public and to carry out their professional duties with honesty and dedication to help improve the overall law and order situation in the district.
