DPO holds khuli katcheri to address public complaints

SWABI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Mar, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO), Waqar Rafiq here Friday held an open court (Khuli Katcheri) at Kalu Khan Police Station to address problems and issues of area citizenry.

The khuli katcheri was attended by concerned police officials and relevant staff. The citizens informed police officials about their concerns, submitted applications and complaints particularly regarding land disputes.

The DPO attentively listened to the grievances and issued clear and strict instructions to concerned officers for immediate action.

He emphasized that all applications must be processed promptly, transparently abiding by principles of merit and law.

He stated that the Primary objective of holding such open courts is to establish direct communication between the police and the public, to hear citizens’ issues and ensure their immediate resolution.

He also urged Dispute Resolution Councils to enhance their effectiveness and play a more active role in providing relief to the public.
