DPO holds open court to address public complaints

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Apr, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Rana Umar Farooq on Monday held an open court at the DPO Complex in Gujrat,where citizens presented their complaints directly.

According to a police spokesperson,the DPO issued on-the-spot directions for immediate redressal of grievances and stressed the need to ensure merit and provision of justice.

The open court was aimed at promoting trust between the public and police,ensuring timely resolution of issues and strengthening ongoing efforts to bring positive changes in police culture.

Officials said such initiatives help improve public-police liaison and provide citizens with direct access to senior officers for the resolution of their concerns.
