DPO inspects driving school, stresses transparent licensing

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Jul, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Ziauddin Ahmed, visited the Police Driving School to inspect the driving test process and review ongoing training sessions, reaffirming the police department's commitment to transparency and road safety.

During the visit, the DPO directed the driving school staff to ensure that the issuance of driving licences is carried out with complete transparency, merit and strict adherence to relevant rules and regulations.

He emphasized that every stage of the licensing process must remain fair and free from irregularities.

Inspecting the training classes, Ziauddin Ahmed instructed the staff to provide comprehensive instruction on modern traffic laws, safe driving practices and practical driving skills so that candidates develop into responsible and competent drivers.

The DPO said that promoting safe driving habits and raising public awareness of traffic regulations are essential for protecting lives and property, adding that quality training remains a top priority in achieving safer roads.
