DPO offers Eid-ul-Azha prayers at Police Lines

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th May, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Akhtar Farooq on Wednesday offered Eid-ul-Azha prayers along with police officials at Police Lines Gujrat and exchanged Eid greetings with personnel.

According to official sources, the DPO appreciated the services and dedication of police officials performing duty during Eid-ul-Azha to maintain law and order across the district.

Speaking on the occasion,he said the Gujrat police remained fully active to ensure the protection of lives and property of citizens and to provide a peaceful environment during the festive days.

He added that comprehensive security arrangements had been put in place across the district to maintain peace and facilitate the public during Eid-ul-Azha.
