DPO reviews District Jail security arrangements

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jul, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Gujrat Akhtar Farooq visited District Jail Gujrat and reviewed its security and administrative arrangements.

According to official sources, the DPO met the jail administration and discussed matters related to prison security, the safety and welfare of inmates, and coordination between the police and jail authorities.

During the visit, he inspected the overall security arrangements, including deployment and surveillance measures, to assess the preparedness of the jail administration.
