DPO reviews police performance and services

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jun, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Gujrat Akhtar Farooq visited Daulat Nagar Police Station, Boken Mor Police Check Post and Makiana Police Service Centre to review administrative and operational arrangements.

According to police sources, the DPO inspected cleanliness arrangements, police record, lock-up facilities, front desk operations and attendance of officers and personnel.

He also reviewed the facilities and services being provided to citizens at the Police Service Centre Makiana.

During the visit, he directed officers and officials to ensure discipline, proper maintenance of records and cleanliness at police establishments. He emphasized the importance of courteous and professional behaviour towards citizens.

The DPO said that effective public service delivery and a citizen-friendly policing environment should remain the top priority of the police department.
