DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Apr, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Ziauddin Ahmad has reviewed service delivery standards across key public service units, emphasizing transparency, efficiency, and improved public facilitation.
In this regard, the DPO conducted detailed and surprise visits to the Driving License Branch, Police Facilitation Center, and Emergency Helpline 15.
During the visits, he met citizens on-site, listened to their concerns, and issued immediate instructions for resolving their issues. He also sought feedback regarding staff behavior and the quality of services being provided.
While inspecting various sections of the Driving License Branch, he thoroughly reviewed the entire process of license issuance. He directed the officials concerned to ensure complete transparency and merit in the system so that citizens do not face unnecessary delays or inconvenience.
The DPO further emphasized the use of modern technology, instructing that all records should be fully computerized and regularly updated to minimize the chances of corruption.
At the Police Facilitation Center, he reviewed services such as character certificates, general police verification, international verification, rent agreements, and other public services. He instructed the staff to ensure timely and quality service delivery under one roof.
During his visit to Emergency Helpline 15, the DPO examined the call response system, control room performance, and the mechanism for handling complaints. He directed officials to ensure prompt, effective, and timely response to emergency calls to strengthen public trust in the police.
Speaking on the occasion, DPO Ziauddin Ahmad said that public service, transparency, and swift justice remain the top priorities of the police. He urged all officers and personnel to demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and responsibility in addressing public concerns.
