DPO reviews security arrangements at Awan Sharif check post

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Gujrat,Rana Umar Farooq on Wednesday visited the Awan Sharif police check post and reviewed security arrangements and staff attendance.

According to a police spokesperson,the DPO conducted a detailed inspection of deployed personnel, assessing their performance and preparedness.

He also checked attendance registers and reviewed the overall security setup at the post.

During the visit,the DPO directed officials to remain vigilant at all times and keep a strict watch on suspicious individuals.

He stressed the need for effective and organized checking to ensure public safety.

He further instructed the use of all available resources to strengthen surveillance and maintain law and order in the area.
