DPO reviews security arrangements at cattle markets

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th May, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Sargodha Muhammad Sohaib Ashraf on Tuesday visited various cattle markets established across the district to review security arrangements and ensure the protection of citizens and traders ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.

According to a press release issued by DPO office, the DPO personally inspected the security measures in the field and interacted with traders and buyers to obtain feedback regarding the police performance and facilities.

Muhammad Sohaib Ashraf assured the traders that their safety remained the top priority of the police department, adding that personnel were alert 24/7 to protect their lives and property.

He further stated that heavy police contingents were deployed throughout the district so that the process of buying and selling sacrificial animals could be completed without any fear or risk.
