DPO visits Tank blast victims in DI Khan hospital

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jul, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Ismail Khan, Ziauddin Ahmed on Monday visited hospital to inquire after the health of the police personnel injured in the improvised explosive device (IED) attack on an armoured personnel carrier (APC) in Tank.

During the visit, the DPO and praised their courage, dedication and professionalism in the line of duty. He expressed his best wishes for their speedy recovery and assured them of the police department's full support.

Ziauddin Ahmed directed the hospital administration to ensure the provision of the best possible medical care to the injured personnel.

He instructed that all available medical resources be utilised to facilitate their swift recovery.

The DPO said police personnel were the nation's frontline defenders, adding that their safety, welfare and timely medical treatment remained the department's top priority. He reaffirmed that the injured officers would continue to receive every possible assistance until their complete recovery.
