Dr. Tariq Fazal pays tribute to martyrs, ghazis of ‘Marka-e-Haq’

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th May, 2026) Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhary on Friday paid tribute to all the martyrs and ghazis of “Marka-e-Haq,” saying their sacrifices led Pakistan to a historic victory against a much larger enemy.

In a video message on the first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq,” he said the bravery and sacrifices of the martyrs and ghazis would always be remembered with pride.

He said the nation achieved unforgettable success because of its courage and dedication.

Dr Tariq Fazal said the way the Pakistan Armed Forces defended the country was a matter of great pride for the nation.

He added that the entire world acknowledged the professional capabilities of the falcons of the Pakistan Air Force for downing enemy aircraft.

He said the examples of courage and bravery displayed during “Bunyan-um-Marsoos” would be remembered forever, adding that “Marka-e-Haq” changed the course of Pakistan’s history and brought honour to the nation that would be remembered for generations.

The Minister said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir played an important role in the victory through wise leadership and effective coordination.

He said the planning and coordination witnessed during the operation were commendable and reflected the strength and professionalism of the country’s armed forces.

Dr Tariq Fazal also paid tribute to the mothers whose sons were bravely defending the homeland.

He said international leaders and media outlets were acknowledging Pakistan’s victory over India.

He expressed hope that the spirit of national unity demonstrated during the conflict will continue in the future as well.

He reaffirmed that the nation would continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces for the defence of the country.
