Drive to vaccinate livestock launched in Gujrat

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th May, 2026) A vaccination drive has been launched in various villages of the district

to protect small and large animals from HS (Hemorrhagic Septicemia)

and ET (Enterotoxemia) diseases.

Livestock Department sources said here on Tuesday that on the direction

of Additional Director Livestock Dr Tahir Aziz, field teams were visiting

rural areas to ensure timely vaccination of livestock under the campaign.

During the drive, livestock owners were also being educated about preventive

measures, proper animal care, and protection against contagious diseases.
