Drug peddlers held, 11kg hashish recovered in Muzaffargarh

MUZAFFARGARH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Apr, 2026) Police claimed to have arrested two notorious drug peddlers and his accomplice during an operation, recovering more than 11 kilograms of hashish.

According to police sources, the operation was carried out within the jurisdiction of Saddar Police Station in Alipur near the area of Mud Wala. Acting on a tip-off, police set up a checkpoint and intercepted the suspects.

The accused were identified as Saifullah alias Saifi Cooper and a car driver, Ghulam Shabbir. During the search, police recovered a total of 11 kilograms of hashish from their possession. Of this, 10,693 grams were seized from Saifullah in 10 packets, while 293 grams were recovered from Ghulam Shabbir.

Police said that Saifullah was involved in multiple drug-related cases and was wanted to police.

Police arrested both the suspects and registered case against the accused.
