Dummar formally inaugurates project of modern CCTV cameras at Sanjawi Police Station

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st May, 2026) Balochistan Minister Commodity Management Department and Chairman Balochistan food Authority Haji Noor Muhammad Khan Dummar formally inaugurated the project of modern CCTV cameras at Sanjawi Police Station.

Addressing a ceremony held on this occasion, he said that the establishment of law and order situation, protection of life and property of the people and effective prevention of crimes are among the top priorities of the government.

He said that the installation of modern CCTV surveillance system would enable a close watch on the activities of criminal elements while also helping in providing a more secure and peaceful environment to the people.

He said that this project equipped with modern technology would lead to an increase in the professional capabilities of the police and could provide effective assistance to the law enforcement agencies in timely detection and prevention of crimes. Haji Noor Muhammad Khan Dummar said that the installation of CCTV cameras in Sanjawi city is an important milestone towards ensuring public safety and promoting peace and stability in the area.

He added that the current government is committed to providing basic facilities to the people, implementing development projects.

While paying tribute to the services of the police force, he said that the police personnel are rendering valuable services for the protection of the lives and property of the people and for the establishment of peace and order, and the government would provide all possible resources to enhance their capacity.

The ceremony was attended by Assistant Commissioner Sanjawi, police officials, officers of various departments, political and tribal elders, social figures, senior leaders of the Haji Noor Muhammad Khan Damar caravan and a large number of respected citizens. The participants welcomed the installation of a modern CCTV surveillance system in Sanjawi city and called it an important and positive development for the establishment of law and order and the prevention of crime.
