ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st May, 2026) One person was killed and 12 others sustained injuries when a dumper carrying devotees overturned on Jhang Bahtar Road in Fateh Jang on Sunday, rescue officials said.

The accident occurred near Naka Ameer Khan as the devotees were reportedly travelling to the shrine of Mandran Wali Sarkar with a traditional offering.

According to initial reports, the vehicle overturned after the driver lost control, allegedly due to overspeeding or imbalance.

Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the scene after receiving information about the incident and dispatched ambulances for the operation. Rescue personnel provided first aid to the injured before shifting them to Wah General Hospital for medical treatment.

Officials said the body of the deceased was moved to the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Fateh Jang for legal formalities.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
