Eateries sealed for allowing dine-in post 11.30 pm deadline

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Apr, 2026) The district administration sealed 8 restaurants in Hyderabad on Thursday night for violating the government's energy saving measures by remaining open after the 11.30 pm closing time deadline.

An official informed here on Friday that 7 of those eateries were sealed in the jurisdiction of Latifabad taluka by the Assistant Commissioner Saud Loond.

The hotels include Ijaz Karahi, Umar Khan hotel, Manan hotel, Mataam Shinwari, Bismillah hotel, Makki Shah hotel and Chaye Pe Charcha hotel.

Loond issued a strict warning to all eateries to close by 11:30 pm as any hotel found allowing dine-in services would face immediate legal action without exception.

The administration reiterated its commitment to enforcing government directives in letter and spirit to ensure law and order across the taluka.

Meanwhile, the Assistant Commissioner taluka Qasimabad Hataf Siyal also sealed the Roopa Mari restaurant for the same violation.
