Education minister orders issuance of commendation certificate to CSS qualifier Aqsa

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th May, 2026) Punjab Minister for education Rana Sikandar Hayat on Wednesday met CSS qualifier Aqsa Bano and congratulated her on her outstanding achievement, terming it a matter of pride for the Higher Education Department.

During the meeting, the minister appreciated Aqsa Bano, who had been serving as a lecturer at a government college in Rahim Yar Khan, and said her success reflected the potential of talented individuals emerging from rural areas.

He said that Aqsa Bano, hailing from Mianwali Qureshian area of Rahim Yar Khan, was a valuable asset of Punjab, adding that talent from rural regions was making its mark at the national level.

Rana Sikandar said that girls of Punjab were no less capable and were progressing rapidly in various fields, adding that Aqsa Bano’s success would serve as a role model for other female students.

He further said that Aqsa was inspired by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and was determined to follow her vision of public service, adding that under her leadership new opportunities were opening up for women in Punjab.

The minister directed the HEC to issue a commendation certificate to Aqsa Bano and instructed senior officials to personally visit her home in South Punjab to present the certificate in recognition of her achievement.
