Eight ASIs promoted to SI

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th May, 2026) Eight Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) of Punjab Police have been promoted to the rank of Sub-Inspector in a Promotion board meeting held under the chairmanship of DIG PHP Faisal Ali Raja.

According to Punjab Police spokesperson, the promoted officers include Rashid Minhas, Imran Khan, Muhammad Naveed Shakoor, Muhammad Yousaf, Nadeem Pervaiz, Muhammad Imran, Abdul Shakoor, and Saleem Shad. The notification of their promotion has been issued by the DIG PHP.

IGP Abdul Kareem congratulated the promoted officers and directed them to discharge their duties with greater hard work, integrity and dedication. He said that departmental promotion is the right of every officer and official, which is being ensured in a timely manner to further enhance the performance of the police force.
