Eight of family injured as van overturns near Shah Maqsood Interchange

HARIPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jun, 2026) Eight people, including four women, were injured when a Toyota Hiace met with an accident near Shah Maqsood Interchange on the Hazara Motorway after one of its tires burst, Rescue 1122 officials said on Thursday.

According to Rescue 1122 Haripur, the vehicle was carrying members of the same family who were returning to Islamabad after visiting the northern areas when the accident occurred.

The rescuers provided first aid to all eight injured passengers and shifted them to the Trauma Center for further medical treatment.

Rescue officials said timely response by the emergency teams ensured that the injured were promptly attended to and transported to hospital.
